You can see my sat \nantennas on my QRZ site. Station here for L-band:\n\nKenwood TS-790A with 1.2 GHz module (for being an antique, this radio \nworks extremely well on all of the sats)\nLMR 400 coax\nGerman made helix about 2 feet long (sorry forgot the name, but \nextremely well made).\n\nantennas are about 6 feet above ground as pictured on QRZ and 25 feet \nfrom rig. I am often astonished that even with the trees in the yard and \nsmall hills, I often catch the sats at 4 degrees. Seems like my 1.257 \nMHz uplink is not very loud, but my output maybe around 5 watts. I was \nhearing AO-92 at 5 degrees this morning, but could not uplink\n\n73 Chuck N7BFO\n\nOn 5/13/2020 9:52 AM, 73 Bob W7LRD via AMSAT-BB wrote:\n> Hi all- I would be curious to know what \"everyone\" is using for L band gear.
