    "content": "An International Space Station school contact has been planned with participants at Matthes-Enderlein-Gymnasium Zwönitz, Zwönitz, Germany and Hohenstaufen-Gymnasium Kaiserslautern, Kaiserslautern, Germany on 16 Aug. The event is scheduled to begin at approximately 11:12 UTC. The duration of the contact is approximately 9 minutes and 30 seconds. The contact will be direct between DP0ISS and with DL0MEG and DL0XK. The contact should be audible over Germany and adjacent areas. Interested parties are invited to listen in on the 145.80 MHz downlink. The contact is expected to be conducted in German.\n\n \n\n \n\nMatthes-Enderlein-Gymnasium Zwönitz\n\n \n\nDer Name der Schule ist \"Matthes-Enderlein-Gymnasium, sie wurde 1975, in der damaligen DDR gegründet. \n\nDer Gründungsname war Friedrich-Engels Polytechnische Oberschule. Ab 1992 wurde sie als Gymnasium geführt.\n\nIn den Jahren 2002 und 2003 wurde die Schule renoviert und 2008 kamen naturwissenschaftliche Räume und \n\nmoderne Räume für Informationstechnologie dazu. \n\nJetzt lernen 670 Schüler und lehren 60 Lehrer.  Unterrichtet werden 2 unterschiedliche Profile, zum einen \n\ndas wissenschaftliche Profil  und zum anderen ein sprachliches Profil mit einer dritten ausländischen Sprache. \n\nNeben Englisch als erste Fremdsprache werden noch Latein, Französisch und Russisch gelehrt.\n\nFolgende Lernbereiche werden im naturwissenschaftlichen Profil unterrichtet: \n\nKlasse 8: Optik, Gesundheitserziehung, Erdatmosphäre, Wasser\n\nKlasse 9: Licht und Farben, Kommunikation, Boden\n\nKlasse 10: Messen, Steuern, Regeln; Bionik, Astronomische Beobachtungen\n\nDie Schule ist ein Gymnasium mit naturwissenschaftlichem und sprachlichem Profil. Dadurch ist es möglich, \n\ndie Vorgänge aller Aktivität im Zusammenhang mit dem ISS Kontakt  in den Unterricht der 8., 9. Und 10. Klasse \n\nzu integrieren.\n\nRaumfahrt insbesondere das Projekt ISS, Atmosphäre und die internationale Zusammenarbeit werden zum \n\nUnterrichtsstoff.\n\nDie Schüler im sprachlichen Profil erhalten mit der Vorbereitung und Durchführung des Kontaktes zur ISS, \n\ndie Möglichkeit ihr erlerntes Wissen auszubauen und anzuwenden.\n\nDas Matthes-Enderlein-Gymnasium biete im Rahmen des Ganztagsangebotes ein vielfältiges\n\n Betätigungsfeld im naturwissenschaftlichen Bereich:\n\n-     Lizenzkurs zur Erlangung der Amateurfunklizenz\n\n-     Aufbau von Elektronischen Schaltungen in den Bereichen: Telekommunikation und Netze\n\nMeteorologie, Aerologie, Klimatologie, Geo-/Raumwissenschaften, Radioastronomie\n\nElektronik, Sensorik, Mikrokontroller, Robotik\n\n-     Aufbau und Betrieb einer Amateurfunkklubstation für HF und VHF/UHF SAT Betrieb\n\n-     Grundlagen der Herstellung von elektronischen Baugruppen\n\n \n\n \n\nHohenstaufen-Gymnasium Kaiserslautern\n\n \n\nAm Hohenstaufen-Gymnasium lernen und lehren rund 1100 Schülerinnen und Schüler und 90 Lehrkräfte.\n\n \n\nDie Schule ist regional, überregional und bundesweit gut vernetzt.
