    "content": "Les\n\nI'm using HRD 6.0 SAT Tracker/HRD Rotator as well as SATPC32, predominately\nHRD SAT Tracker.\nIn fact, I was using SAT Tracker when you and I QSO'd  5/20  on SO-50 .\n\nI use them in conjunction with my Flex 5000A  / EA4TX rotator controller/\nG5500 rotator.\n\nI am only using SAT Tracker and SATPC32 for TX/RX Doppler control as neither\nproduct has adequate support for other Flex 5000 Rig control functions IMHO\n.\n\nI have written software which intercepts CAT commands coming from either\nprogram and I only pass on doppler tuning info through to the Rig.\nThe same software allows me to do other required Rig control functions:\n\t-TX\n\t-TX/RX calibration for transponder satellites\n\t-RIT\n\t-Transmit power adjust\n\t-Satellite specific controls-TX/RX mode, tones, reset SO-50 timer,\netc.\nI also have provided support for my TS-2000 and IC-9100 in the software. \nMy preference for SAT Tracker is primarily because I like the user interface\nbetter.\n\nSome caveats on using HRD 6.0 SAT Tracker/HRD Rotator natively with any\nsupported rig:\nHRD Rotator does not play nicely with Rotators with a south stop\n(Yaesu-5400), you can make it work, but software azimuth readout is 180 deg\noff\nHRD SAT Tracker does not support transponders of the \"Non-inverting type\"\n(like AO-7 mode A)\n\nDave W0DHB\n\n  \n\n-----Original Message-----\nFrom: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On\nBehalf Of Les Rayburn\nSent: Thursday, May 23, 2013 11:26 AM\nTo: AMSAT Mailing List\nSubject: [amsat-bb] HRD 6.0 and Satellite Tracker\n\nNew to the birds, and using SATPC32 to control my Icom IC-910H.
