"content": "Hi!\n\nYes, I have been running 3 different DOS-based tracking programs\n(InstantTrack, STS Plus, PREDICT) in DOSBox running on a 64-bit\nWindows 7 laptop, 32- and 64-bit Windows 10 laptops, and a 64-bit\nLinux (Fedora 28) laptop. I had purchased InstantTrack many years\nago, had PREDICT on the Win7 laptop, and with the recent QRZ\ndiscussions decided to try STS Plus. All seem to work fine, and\nwith updated keps are just as accurate as the more modern programs\nlike SatPC32 and Gpredict I also use.\n\nOnce I had my folder/directory set up for DOSBox, I copied it off,\nand can put that on other systems running DOSBox. DOSBox appears\nto report its version as 5.00, if that matters for programs you\nmay want to run in that environment.\n\nBTW InstantTrack appears to remain available for purchase, but not\nfrom AMSAT anymore. InstantTrack's web page is:\n\nhttp://mustbeart.com/software/it/index.html\n\nand the link for purchasing it:\n\nhttp://www.swreg.org/com/storefront/47805/product/478051\n\nI had version 1.50, made a copy of that installation, and applied\nthe version 1.55 beta update. Both the original 1.50 install and\nthe upgraded 1.55 install work fine in DOSBox.\n\n73!\n\n\n\n\nPatrick WD9EWK/VA7EWK\nhttp://www.wd9ewk.net/\nTwitter: @WD9EWK or http://twitter.com/WD9EWK\n\n\n\n\n\nOn Wed, Jul 4, 2018 at 7:09 PM, Milen KG2C <\[email protected]> wrote:\n\n> In another thread on QRZ Patrick WD9EWK/VA7EWK mentions that he also got\n> InstantTrack running in DOSBox.\n> The link for that one is:\n> https://forums.qrz.com/index.php?threads/farewell-sts-plus.617552/page-2\n>\n> On Wed, Jul 4, 2018 at 3:02 PM, JoAnne K9JKM <[email protected]>\n> wrote:\n>\n> > Hi Tom,\n> >\n> > > InstantTrack, that most likely will not work under\n> > > the Windows 10/64 bit world\n> >\n> > There was a discussion on the QRZ satellite forum a couple of weeks ago\n> > involving a method to get the DOS based STSPlus running on Win10.
