    "content": "Since not every AMSAT member on amsat-bb receives ANS and given the  \nimportance of the BOD nomination and election process, I am taking  \nthis opportunity to send this ANS news item (released on Saturday, 2  \nJune) regarding the nomination deadline that is coming up:\n\n\nTo All RADIO AMATEURS\nBID: $ANS-154.01\n\nIt is time to submit nominations for the upcoming open seats on the\nAMSAT-NA Board of Directors.  A nomination requires either one Member\nSociety or five current individual members to nominate an AMSAT member\nfor the position.  A director serves for a period of two years.\n\nFour directors' terms expire this year:  Barry Baines, WD4ASW; Emily\nClarke, N1DID; Rick Hambly, W2GPS; and, Gunther Meisse, W8GSM.\n\nWritten nominations must be sent by regular mail and must be received\nat the AMSAT office no later than 12 June 2007.\n\nNominations MUST be in writing and mailed to:\nAMSAT\n850 Sligo Ave #600\nSilver Spring, MD  20901\n\n------\n\nShould you have any questions about the nomination process, please  \nfeel free to contact Martha at the AMSAT office or me.\n\n\nBarry Baines, WD4ASW\nAMSAT Corporate Secretary\n",
