Several groups have activated AL2C throughout this bicentennial year\nwhich wraps up on Alabama Day on December 14, 2019 marking the 200th year\nof statehood.  Pinson Valley High School Amateur Radio Club will operate as\nAL2C on November 16, 2019 from their school-based amateur radio club\nstation from EM63 on Amateur Radio Satellites and HF bands. Pinson Valley\nHigh School was named an Alabama Bicentennial School of Excellence by\nGovernor Kaye Ivey in recognition of their bicentennial school community\nproject.
