The actual\nfrequency will vary a little bit due to temperature variations (the radio\nand transverter is located outdoors) but this does not seem to have a big\nimpact on the uplink.\nWe have adjusted the modulation so the resulting signal is slightly narrower\nthan expected. This appears to help a little.\nOur uplink antenna is a WIMO 23-cm helix and I think we feed it with some\n40-50 W.\n\nThe uplink success rate do varies a lot. On some passes we can't get in\ndespite 30 degrees elevation. At other times we manage to get in while the\nsatellite is only 3 degrees over the horizon.\n\n\nOZ7SAT is a club station and you can mail us on [email protected]. You can\nsee which satellites we are tracking on http://www.amsat.dk/oz7sat (the\nfirst page is mostly in Danish).\n\nThe pass at 14:19-14:33 UTC today was a good pass. We received 2195 frames\nfrom AO-51. That's was almost half a megabyte.\n\n\n73 de Scott / oz2aba\n\nPS: Glad to see that we are not the only ones listening to satellite packet\nhere in Europe. We almost never see other callsigns in the queue.\n\n\n\n-----Original Message-----\nFrom: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On\nBehalf Of Vincenzo Mone\nSent: 14. marts 2011 18:30\nTo: [email protected]\nSubject: [amsat-bb] AO-51 still cannot access\n\nHi,\nToday at about 15:00 pm i had a good pass of AO-51 but as usual i could'nt\nget in.\nI've tried during the whole pass to tx on the uplink frequencies moving a\nbit up and down but nothing to do, i did not get any response.\nI have tried with two TNC with a TINY-2 and with a TNC3S but had the same\nresult.\nI saw in the queue for the whole pass OZ7SAT.\nI would like to know which is the correct frequency to TX.\nUnfortunately i do not know and also cannot find OZ7SAT's email address so\nif he read this message can please email me the correct frequency.\nAny help will be really appreciated.\n73's de Enzo IK8OZV\n\nInviato da iPhone\n_______________________________________________\nSent via [email protected].
