"content": "Thanks John,\n\nIt would be very interesting to hear from other parts of the world where\nonly 1-2 stations are on whether the dropouts are similar. That would help\nclarify the situation. SO-50 has similar dropouts, and AO-51 did as well\nwhen the PL access was enabled.\n\nAlan\nWA4SCA\n \n\n-----Original Message-----\nFrom: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On\nBehalf Of John Papay\nSent: 14 November, 2009 09:45\nTo: [email protected]\nSubject: [amsat-bb] SO-67 14Nov2009 1521z Audio\n\nThe central USA pass was much like the eastern pass.\nSignals from the satellite were very strong. Audio\nwas very loud, even on the wideband rx setting on the\nTS2000. Audio cut off after a few seconds of transmission\nwas prevalent. It seems that it took several seconds for\nthe audio to come back when this happened. Lots of stations\non the bird including KC8ZFN, KD8CAO, WB8OTH, WC7V, WA4NVM,\nKB1RVT, WA4SCA, KB0RZD, N5AFV, WD9EWK, N5UXT, WB2IOL, KF9L,\nAA5PK and others. The bird went over the horizon before it\nturned off.\n\nhttp://www.papays.com/SO-67_14Nov2009_152116z.mp3\n\nThe next Western USA pass is not visible in Cleveland.\n\n73,\nJohn K8YSE EN91dh\n\n\nJohn Papay\[email protected]\n\n_______________________________________________\nSent via [email protected].
