"content": "AO-27's schedule basically works as follows: when it turns on it transmits\nroughly 30 seconds of data, activates the repeater for 7 or so minutes, then\nanother 90 seconds of data before shutting off. If it appears to be dead\nafterwords (ie you can't hear yourself on the bird with a 2nd radio or in\nfull duplex) then you caught it on the tail end of the schedule. Goto\nAO27.org for the current schedule or download the Scheduler at\nhttp://sites.google.com/site/ao27satellitescheduler/ and generate your own\nschedule predictions.\n\n~73, KC2WQW\n\nOn Wed, Oct 20, 2010 at 2:17 PM, Bruce Semple <[email protected]>wrote:\n\n>\n> Is there some sort of IDLE / switch over / recovery time after\n> AO-27 does it's telemetry dump\n> before you can get back into the FM repeater?\n>\n> I have strong signals S9+30+ going into the telemetry dump -- and\n> then it appears to be dead after it finishes.\n>\n>\n>\n> 73,\n> Bruce\n> WA3SWJ\n>\n> _______________________________________________\n> Sent via [email protected].
