    "content": "Recently I found some old audio cassettes on which I had recorded some\nof the sounds I heard from the satellites back in the eighties.\n\nRather than discarding the tapes I decided to digitize them and make\nthem available to interested persons.\n\nI have got sound bites from:\n\n- RS-5\n- RS-7\n- Oscar 9\n- Oscar 10\n- Oscar 11\n\nI also found recordings from my attempts to contact Owen Garriot, W5LFL,\nduring his pioneering trip on STS-9 in Nov/Dec 1983. I made three\nattempts but only one of them has a few minutes with the voice of W5LFL,\nso that is the only one on my site.\n\nThe audio clips are here:\n\nhttp://www.fern.dk/?Satellite_Sounds\n\nIf anybody has - or can detect - further information I will be more than\nhappy to add it to the data presented on my web site.\n\nBTW is there a commonly accepted repository for things like what I have\nmade?
