May look at that\noption later if required.\n\nColin I think you may be onto it there, I know I spoke to some others about\ndoing this but just cannot recall it.\n\nI think a change needs to be done in one of the configuration files.\n\nI have tried activating the RTS+ 12V function and I do get a constant\noutput voltage on the serial pin, I need it to stay low then switch high\nwhen sat in view.\n\nWe will keep exploring and thanks again.\n\nJP\n\n\nOn Tue, Oct 31, 2017 at 9:26 PM, Andrew Rich <[email protected]>\nwrote:\n\n> Just use an arduino on a serial port\n>\n>\n> > On 31 Oct 2017, at 8:42 pm, Colin Hurst <[email protected]> wrote:\n> >\n> > Joe,\n> > I have often wondered what some of the option offered under Radio Setup\n> in\n> > SatPC32 mean.\n> > Must admit I have not read the manual as I have not required anything\n> out of\n> > the ordinary.\n> > Just looking at the Radio Setup there is a RTS+12V selection that may or\n> may\n> > not suit your requirements.\n> > Erich DK1TB the author of Satpc32 does monitor this site and he will no\n> > doubt offer a more positive answer.\n> > 73 Colin VK5HI.\n> >\n> > -----Original Message-----\n> > From: AMSAT-BB [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Joe\n> Pereira\n> > Sent: Tuesday, 31 October 2017 20:01\n> > To: [email protected]\n> > Subject: [amsat-bb] SatPC32\n> >\n> > Does anyone know if it is possible to output a serial port signal when a\n> > satellite is in view.\n> >\n> > I would like to switch an external relay circuit when a particular\n> satellite\n> > is in view.\n> >\n> > Regards\n> > Joe - VK5EI\n> > _______________________________________________\n> > Sent via [email protected].
