    "content": "Believe it or not I paper log.\n\n1.  Extend the handle on your antenna by a couple of feet.  I did it by\ncable-tying the handle to a sawed off broom handle.\n\n2.  Attach the radio to the extended handle.  I cable-tied the belt clip to\nthe broom handle.\n \n3.  Attach a small spiral note-pad to the extended handle.  I had better\nluck using tape for this.\n\n4.  You can now hold the antenna/radio/note-pad with one hand without a\ngreat deal of fatigue by resting the end of the extended handle against your\nwaist or hip.\n\n5.  Using a headset mic, your other hand is now free to adjust for Doppler\nand write down calls.\n\n6.  You can even key the radio with the hand holding the\nantenna/radio/note-pad.\n\n7.  I grab the antenna/radio/note-pad using my left hand and butt the\nextended handle against my left hip as I am right handed -- your mileage may\nvary.\n\n73,\nJoe kk0sd\n\nP.S.
