"content": "In my sub-urban QTH, I can hear nothing EXCEPT wifi noise starting right at \n2401.025MHz in all directions. I'm planning to optimise my BBQ grill/3733 \nantenna in order to improve off-axis rejection, and hopefully the noise - \nwithout having too sharp of pattern for manual tracking of AO-51. I'm also \ncontemplating ditching the BBQ grill reflector in favor or a small dish to \nget better f/b and cut the noise. It makes me wish that satellites would \nstick closer to 2400MHz such as AO-40- it's less noisy there.\n\n73\nAuke\n\n\n----- Original Message ----- \nFrom: \"Luc Leblanc\" <[email protected]>\nTo: <[email protected]>\nCc: <[email protected]>\nSent: Tuesday, April 20, 2010 7:14 AM\nSubject: [amsat-bb] Re: AO-51 V/S\n\n\nOn 20 Apr 2010 at 2:24, Bob- W7LRD wrote:\n\nDate sent: Tue, 20 Apr 2010 02:24:55 +0000 (UTC)\nFrom: Bob- W7LRD <[email protected]>\nSubject: [amsat-bb] AO-51 V/S\nTo: [email protected]\n\n>\n>\n> This last pass worked W6YX and heard Kerry, WC7V. And what is worse is the WI-FI \nQRM is also right on the received 2.4Ghz amateur band.\n\nHere i have to switch off my WI-FI router and my 2.4Ghz camera when i want \nto listen on 2.4Ghz and the camera is the worse as she give 30\nover 9 very wide spread signal.\n\nOpinions are welcome.\n\n\n\"-\"\n\n\nLuc Leblanc VE2DWE\nSkype VE2DWE\nwww.qsl.net/ve2dwe\nDSTAR urcall VE2DWE\nWAC BASIC CW PHONE SATELLITE\n\n\n\n_______________________________________________\nSent via [email protected].
