Papers and \npresentations are solicited on both the technical \nand operational aspects of VHF, UHF and Microwave \nweak signal amateur radio. Time slots for \nPresentations are limited but all papers will be \nconsidered. Some suggested areas of interest are:\nTransmitters\nReceivers\nTransverters\nRF Power Amplifiers\nRF Low Noise Pre Amplifiers\nAntennas\nConstruction Projects\nTest Equipment And Station Accessories\nStation Design And Construction\nContesting\nRoving\nDXpeditions\nEME\nPropagation (Sporadic E, Meteor Scatter, Troposphere Ducting, etc.)\nDigital Modes (WSJT, etc.)\nDigital Signal Processing (DSP)\nSoftware Defined Radio (SDR)\nAmateur Satellites Amateur Television\nIn general papers and presentations on non weak \nsignal related topics such as FM repeaters and \npacket will not be accepted but exceptions may be \nmade if the topic is related to weak signal. For \nexample, a paper or presentation on the use of \nAPRS to track rovers during contests would be considered.\nThe Technical committee this year is K4IDC, Robin \nMidgett and N2CEI, Steve Kostro. Contact Steve \nKostro, SVHFS2011 AT downeastmicrowave DOT com \nas soon as possible if you wish to make a \npresentation. There is limited presentation time \nleft in the schedule. Submissions for \npresentation at the conference should be in \nPowerPoint (.ppt) format, and delivered in person \nat the conference to Robin Midgett on either a \nUSB memory stick or CDROM or posted for download \non a web site of your choice. Notify or adress \nRobin with any other AVA questions at K4IDC AT Comcast DOT net.\nPapers may be submited and published without \npresentation. Deadline for the submission of \npapers is March 11, 2011. All submissions for \nthe proceedings should be in Microsoft Word \n(.doc). Pages are 8 and 1/2 by 11 inches with a 1 \ninch margin on the bottom and ¾ inch margin on \nthe other three sides.
