I\nbelieve other satellite enthusiasts might enjoy building it too, but\npossibly the 3D printing is not a keen interest.\n\nNot to make any profit but really just to share, I'm considering offering a\nkit as described below. Assembling this kit would result in four\nparametric elements that bolt onto the aluminum dipole described in the\nAMSAT article by AA2TX. (article available in a Google share folder; see\nlink below)\n\nThe proposed cost of the kit would be $42.53, shipped via USPS to CONUS. A\nlist of kit contents and costs is shown below.\n\nIf you're interested in this kit, please drop me a note to [email protected]\n If there is sufficient interest, I'll put together a limited number of\nkits and ship them out. (It's not my intent to go into the antenna\nbusiness, but just to share a bit!)\n\nAs an alternate approach: please note there are commercial 3D printing\nservices from which you can order 3D parts.\n\nRegards,\n\nCurt / K7ZOO\n\n*LINK TO DOCUMENTATION ABOUT THE ANTENNA*\nhttps://drive.google.com/drive/folders/15BXhG_1jJZcUSbdn8j4leHhwdGFLSOZq?usp=sharing\n\n*DETAILS OF PARTS IN THE KIT*\nK7ZOO 3D Printed ParaLindy Support\nPETG printed support structure for parasitic elements in AA2TX Lindenblad\nantenna.\nPrice is driven by cost of material & printer maintenance.\nBulk material cost for 1 kilogram of PETG is approx. $25.\nThe piece is 132 grams.\nCost of material in this part: $3.30.\nEstimate a little more to support printer maintenance.\n$7.50\n\nArrow Shafts\nSize 2219, length 11.75\n$3.62 each, $14.48 for a set of four.\n$14.48\n\nRubber End Caps\nMcMaster PN 9753K16.\n10 each (8 needed + 2 spares)\n $1.50\n\nModeling Clay\n25 grams of clay.\nUsed to hold arrows and seal against resin leaking during bonding\noperation.\n$1.00\n\nPacking Material\nBubble wrap and/or packing peanuts.\n$3.00\n\nShipping USPS large flat-rate box\n$15.05\n\nTOTAL $42.53\n", "attachments": [] }
