    "content": "I have  Yaesu FT847 but it has a MH31 hand held microphone.. Not a MH36. Most FT847's have the Yaesu 8 pin round mic connector not one like the MH36 !  Correct me if I'm wrong ! I have never heard of the outer jacket becoming defective like tht. Sorry I can't be more help.\n\nJACK  KC7MG\n\n\n",
