This is a common phenomena \nthat I experienced less than 2 hours ago \non AO-51. The AO-51 pass was noisy\nat 14 degs max. el. using my Arrow and HT. \nAntenna \"adjustment\" helped significantly.\n\nHaving only been on 51 a handfull of times\nduring the past week I cannot pass any \njudgment regarding recent downlinks in Hawaii. \nMy impression is that AO-51 is a very\ndependable, fantastic FM bird. The same\ngoes for it's Operations team and those I \nregularly hear on the mainland. Tonite's \n\"noise\" may be been an anomoly or perhaps\nthe current orientation of AO-51 has shifted\nsome signal strength in favor of the southern\nhemisphere. I did did have several clear \nQSOs. I will continue to evaluate AO-51's \nsignal quality.\n\n73 to everybody\nRespectfully- robert, NH7WN\nHonolulu, Hawaii\n", "attachments": [] }
