    "content": "Hello  Reid and other helpful OM's,\n\nProblem meanwhile solved. Unscrewed the unit and tested various V regulators\nand Opamps. Potmeters in rotor tested and all ok.\nAfter checking the EL meter by 'in parallel' connecting another meter (audio\ntype) across the connections noted that this parallel meter was moving /\ndoing ok.\nSurprised to see that the unit AZ meter now worked again !!!\nAll well now and running as before. Exact origin still rather unknown though\nbut all is working again ! (suspect a non functional contact ??) \nThanks again to all who gave me advice !
