"content": "I was asked to do a satellite demo on Saturday afternoon 8-8-2015. The\ndemo would be at the \"Brat Fry\" fundraiser put on by the newly formed\nLakeshore Amateur Radio Service Club (LARSC) in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. The\nclub also had some of their ARES/RACES gear set up to demo to the public.\nThe demonstration generated a lot of interest with the public passing\nby. This all took place in a crowded parking lot at Festival Foods. I knew\nit would be a challenge to work a satellite pass with the traffic passing\nby and our location was next to a large building. An earlier pass to the\neast was totally blocked by the building. The only opportunity for a clear\npass was at 21:06z. I was elated with the good response from the\nsatellite community. I had quite a few stations calling me. The group\nthat was present was quite impressed when they heard all the stations\ncoming back to my call. There was a lot of discussion about\nworking satellites after the demo. Thank you to all those stations that\ncalled me and helped make the demo a success.\n\n 73 to all,\n Dave WN9Q\n",
