I hope to receive them\nin a few days.\n\nWith that in mind, I should have some ready before the\nAMSAT Symposium. If you worked me on the trip and plan\nto attend the Symposium, please drop me an email off line.\nI will bring cards to Chicago and give them to you in\nperson.\n\nThere will be 11 different cards for the various locations. A\npicture of the Minnesota card is on my website, papays.com/sat\nand qrz.com. There were about 350 unique callsigns out of\n2069 qso's. This is a good indicator that it's not just a\nhandful of stations that are operating on the birds. There is\na growing interest in satellites and many of the newer operators\nare working towards their Satellite VUCC!\n\nOperating \"portable\" away from your home grid is both challenging\nand rewarding. Once you try it, you'll always think about taking\nyour gear with you when you have the opportunity to travel. There\nis always a need for uncommon grids. Many grids that were once\nactive can become rare in a short time. Don't be afraid to show\nup from any grid. There will always be someone that needs it and\nthey will appreciate the effort that you make to operate from there.\n\n73,\nJohn K8YSE\n\n\n", "attachments": [] }
