I had a good QSO on HF a bit back, mentioned \"I do AMSAT\" and he said\nsomething to the effect, \"I tried listening and calling but never heard\nanything\". I told him about the \"Actual vs. published\" frequencies. He\nsays \"Well that probably explains it then\". Even K6LCS's great pages at\nhttp://www.work-sat.com/Sat_Skeds.html do not refer to the offset. I am\nconvinced that this disparity is the cause for at least some of the QRM on\nthat bird, not all but some.\n\nTom Schuessler\nN5HYP\[email protected]\n\n\n\nMessage: 2\nDate: Sat, 7 Jun 2014 16:47:19 +0200\nFrom: Ib Christoffersen <[email protected]>\nTo: Koos van den Hout <[email protected]>\nCc: [email protected]\nSubject: Re: [amsat-bb] SO-50 Frequency Drift\nMessage-ID: <70.98.04540.7F523935@fep45>\nContent-Type: text/plain; charset=\"iso-8859-1\"\n\nHi Koss and Paul,\nI do not think that the \"normal\" center frequency is 436.795 MHz.\n\nI use two frequencies for the downlink in SatPC32:\n\n436.791 and 436.788 MHz.\n\nI have heard it suddenly jump about 5 kHz during a pass - but that is some\ntime ago.\n\nThe two frequencies above are not always spot on but close enough.\n\nHave a nice weekend all.\n\nOZ1MY/Ib\n\n\n",
