I am using a PCI board--2 Port \nserial card to drive both Yaesu rotots and Icom IC910H and a driver \ncompatible with Win7. The board cost $20 and the driver $0.00. Far far \nless than the USB to Serial box I purchased along the way.\n\nAll info on difficulties I had with my set up, including labors with \nUSB, were posted on this list within the past month or so. Contact me \nvia BB or Off-List for more details.\n\nThe bad news is either Vista or Windows 7 64-bit MUST have drivers which \nwere designed and coded for 64-bit operation. Even though numerous \nlisters and vendors suggested I use the 32-bit drivers with Win7... They \ndid not work for me, and based on what I read on other news groups, I \nbelieve many many others have had the same problems with USB to Serial \ninterfaces and other kinds of USB gadgets in the 64-bit Windows o/s's.\n\nLarry W7IN Plains, Montana\n\nOn 5/19/2010 7:10 PM, Jeff KB2M wrote:\n> I'm trying to help a new SAT op get his 64 bit VISTA laptop running with\n> SatPC32, LVB Tracker Box(USB), and a Yaesu az el rotor.
