    "content": "I've tried unsuccessfully to decode using the 9600 b output of my FT-857 \ninto a sound card.\n\nThe manual for Foxtelem refers to pulling the discriminator signal out \nof the Yaesu FT-736R for decoding.\nHowever, it does not suggest a point on the circuit.\nI'm thinking to try between Q20 and Q21 on the RX unit.  perhaps a 0.1 \nuf cap to the collector of Q20?\nHas anybody else tried this?\nThanks, Tom, NH6Y\n",
