    "content": "I plugged in my Heil headset which I use on my Icom IC-756 into the mic connector on my Icom IC-910H. I got no audio output on the headset with any SET option that seemed to apply.\n\nI reported this to Heil and got the following reply:\n\"Yes, Ron, they removed the RX audio from this one model, and we're not sure why!\nNo menu thing is available, but there may be a jumper or something inside that Icom can help you find.\nSorry about this--it caught us by surprise, as well, that they would change this one model.\"\n\nThe schematic shows a signal AFO going to pin-8 of the Mic connector and the pinout on page 15 of the manual shows \"AF OUT (varies with [AF]) on pin 8.\n\nHas anyone used the audio output from the mic connector? Was there any \"trick?\"\n\nRon W5RKN\n",
