I get the following:\n\nPress RESET button. Hit any key to continue.\nIdentifying device...\nChip ID=09E6\n16F876 identified\nBeginning bulk erase...\nBulk erase finished.\n\nPress reset button. Hit any key to continue.\nProgramming device...\nProgramming: <Some HEX value> at this point it counts up from 0000 to \n1FE0 (I think the last value is correct, it went by so quickly, I'm not \nsure)\nVerifying device...\nConfiguring device...\nVerifying configuration...\n\nSwitch OFF device. Hit any key to continue.\nRemove HDR3. Hit any key to continue.\nPlace HDR1 into RUN mode. Hit any key to continue.\nDevice programmed. Hit any key to continue.\n\nThen I get a C:\\ prompt. At this point, the device is powered down. I \ntake out the RS232 chip and put in the FTDI chip and connect to the LVB \nTracker with Tera Term. When I hit \"C,\" I get:\n+0546\nF, A, S:\nAz Offset=1023\nF, E, S:\nEl Offset=1023\n\nAt this point, I'm supposed to turn the rotor CW to 360°. Well, I \ncannot. As soon as I plug the LVB into the G5400 controller (at the \nvery beginning of programming), everything turned to max (EL at 180° and \nAZ at 180° Right). I cannot change any setting manually with the rotor \ncontroller. I can commit values to memory, but nothing else. When I \ntype F, A, E, I get:\n\nAz mul=0000.0000\n\nFor F, E, E, I get:\n\nEl mul=0000.0000\n\nWhen I commit all this to memory and hit RESET, I still get no movement \nfrom the rotor using the controller. Only after disconnecting the LVB \nfrom the controller am I able to move the rotor.\n\nAny help or suggestions?\n\n73,\nJoel, W4JBB\n", "attachments": [] }
