"content": "Hi\n\nHere are a few mistakes I have found with the Far Circuit's board. They \nhave changed the board to make it easier to produce, but they did not \nchange the directions. \n\nC8 was left out of the parts list, it is .01uf\nThe parts layout on the CD is wrong. Two C8s and the voltage reg is \nbackwards. Go to farcircuits.net and download their corrected version.\nAs mentioned the voltage reg is backwards. Important to check the \nvoltage on pin 1 of the IC (5 volts) before installing the IC.\nThe directions has you matching the 8 pin connector from the Yaesu \ncontrol box pin for pin on the interface board. Farcircuits has changed \nthat also on their board. My interface was telling my rotor to move CW \nand it would go down.\n\nThat is all I found so far. It is also important to adjust the output \nvoltage of the control box to pins 1 and 6 at exactly 4.5 volts when the \nrotor is all the way CW and UP. This is how the interface knows where \nthe antenna is pointed.\n\nMark Spencer, WA8SME who designed the orignal board has been a great \nhelp! Thank You Mark.\n\nDan N8DZM\n#33913\n\nGEORGE ABBOTT wrote:\n\n>Hi:I have one that is awaiting construction.
