I'm unable to control my IC-910 because of a known bug.\n\nI'd like to rebuild them from source code and I've located a patch. The\nthing is that the patch is a directory, not a single file. I don't\nnormally work with Linux and I have no idea how to apply that patch\ndirectory to the original code.\n\nDoes anyone know how to go about it?\n\nI could try the brute-force method by physically adding or exchanging the\npatch files, but I don't think that's a good idea. I've found some\ninformation on doing something like that using the commands \"diff\" and\n\"patch\" but, when I tried those methods, I must have done something wrong\nas I get some rather cryptic responses.\n\nAny ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.\n\n73s\n\nBernhard VA6BMJ @ DO33FL\n", "attachments": [] }
