I never did understand it and\nprobably never will. It's the same callsigns over and over again. That's\nwhy I love to hear FO-29 and AO-7. I miss FO-20 and AO-40 because of these\nlids on the FM LEO's. Mean while, they are great satellites, just why\nmonopolize it for a QSO on an 8 minute pass. \n\n73\nGreg\nN3MVF\n\n-----Original Message-----\nFrom: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On\nBehalf Of Dave Johnson\nSent: Wednesday, January 31, 2007 7:41 PM\nTo: [email protected]\nSubject: [amsat-bb] Re: Last AO51 pass 0110 z Unbelievable Ignorance\n\nSome people have the \"me, me, me\" attitude, so they feel they're entitled.\nI don't mind hearing a SHORT QSO between ops. I've kept this in mind when\nI've worked the same station a few times, and have limited my comments to\nthem to a sentence or two, so that others get a chance to get in.\n\nWorse yet, on many of the passes that I can hear/work, there is someone in\nthe footprint who just whistles, causing QRM on the already-crowded\nsatellite. And then there's the op who does nothing more than say\n\"hello...hello...hello\". Lastly there are also the ops who apparently\naren't hearing the satellite and keep calling CQ, with stations answering\nthem to no avail.\n\nDave\nKC9GHA\n\nOn 1/30/07, [email protected] <[email protected]> wrote:\n>\n>\n> Message: 6\n> Date: Wed, 31 Jan 2007 01:21:14 +0000 (GMT)\n> From: [email protected]\n> Subject: [amsat-bb] Last AO51 pass 0110 z Unbelievable Ignorance (\n> Flame)\n> To: [email protected]\n> Message-ID: <[email protected]>\n> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii\n>\n> How in the world is is even remotely possible that people hold a\n> conversation on the bird knowing that there are 70 people ( probabally\nmore\n> like 170) using the bird for quick contacts?
