    "content": "Well, the \"23 hour boat ride\" took 31 hours, rough\nseas and slow going.  I was not too active on the LEOs\ndue to the conditions, although had a lot of fun\nworking MM on HF from the bridge.\n\nWe landed about 2:30pm and worked fantically to get\nset up before dark.  One HF SSB station is in\noperation this evening, although we are having\ntechnical problems with the generators and some rigs.\n\nBoyd and I worked late to get the 2m station up, the\n6m antenna goes up in the morning.  We made one EME\nqso with W5UN and then lost the amp, may be just a\ncable issue.\n\nLook for us on Ping Jockeys in the morning.\n\n73, Bill NZ5N \n\nWorked our very first QSO of the expedition with W5VG\non AO-27 with the HT and the Arrow before the\ngenerators were turned on.  Also worked a few on AO-51\nthis evening.
