GS-232A\nwas chosen because at the time that seemed to be the most common theme among\nprediction programs. Easycomm-1 was also promised very early on, so I added\nthat too: it detects which protocol is being run on the fly.\n\nI have just tried it on my laptop, and selected HRD Rotator 4.1 build 2026\nwith Yaesu Az/El at 9600 bps and I could see a \"C2\" command being executed\nusing an RS-232 sniffer. This is a GS-232A command to return Azimuth and\nElevation to the host. So Yaesu Az/El and 9600bps would seem to be the\nsettings to use.\n\nI am committed to making this work, so please let me know what you have\ntried.\n\n73, Howard G6LVB\n\n-----Original Message-----\nFrom: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On\nBehalf Of racer5039\nSent: 03 March 2009 00:23\nTo: [email protected]\nSubject: [amsat-bb] LVB Tracker and HRD Sat Tracker setup Problem\n\nI got my LVB Tracker box today and while going through the setup I have\nfound a couple of things.\nTo start off. I am using HRD 4.1 B2055, Sat Tracker 4.1 B 2019.\nRadio is a Kenwood 2000 Rotor is the G-5500\nIn the rotator set up of HRD there is no option for the GS 232B so I have no\ncontrol of the ELEV.\nI have looked thought the other posts on HRD site but cant seem to find any\ntalk of a fix for this.\nI have check the com to the rotor and can move them by hand just fine with\nboth the GS 232 & EasyComm.\nCan someone point me to the right area to fix this problem please.\nThanks \nMarv\nN0FJP\n_______________________________________________\nSent via [email protected].
