The hamfest will be held at the Mountain Valley campus\nof Scottsdale Bible Church on Perimeter Drive, west of the\nAZ-101 freeway exit 36, and north of Princess Drive, in\nScottsdale, Arizona. This is a half-day hamfest, since\neveryone has to clear out of the church's parking lot by\n1pm (2000 UTC). The hamfest officially starts at 8am (1500\nUTC), but I expect people to be roaming around the parking\nlot before sunrise. More information about the hamfest is\navailable at:\n\nhttp://www.scottsdalearc.org/spring-fest\n\nI plan on doing a series of on-air demonstrations of satellite\noperating during the morning as WD9EWK. There are a bunch of\npasses for FM, SSB, and packet operations that I could show up\non. If you hear or see WD9EWK on a pass Saturday morning,\nplease call and be a part of the demonstrations. Any QSOs\nattempted via NO-84 and the ISS will also use WD9EWK as my\ncall sign, without the -9 SSID I have used for demonstrations\nin the past. All QSOs made during the hamfest will be uploaded\nto Logbook of the World after the hamfest. If you'd like a QSL\ncard for a QSO, please e-mail me directly with the QSO details.\n\nDuring the hamfest, I will post updates from the hamfest, along\nwith photos, on my @WD9EWK Twitter account. If you want to see\nthese updates and you do not use Twitter, do not worry. You can\nuse a web browser to follow along, at:\n\nhttp://twitter.com/WD9EWK\n\nThanks in advance, and 73!\n\n\n\n\n\nPatrick WD9EWK/VA7EWK\nhttp://www.wd9ewk.net/\nTwitter: @WD9EWK\n", "attachments": [] }
