"content": "Tim, I also have a G5400 I use for my EME antenna. Someone on this great list alerted me to www.foxdelta.com for a small digital controller with computer interface like the LV Tracker, only less expensive. I have been using it for some time with my G5400 with great success.\n\nCraig\nN6RSX\n\n-----Original Message-----\nFrom: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Tim Goodrich\nSent: Saturday, September 17, 2011 4:12 PM\nTo: 'AMSAT-BB'\nSubject: [amsat-bb] need resources to set up new az/el rotor\n\nHi All,\n\nI'm very excited as I just picked up a Yaesu G5400B controller and Kenpro\naz/el rotator this morning at an estate sale for $80 total. Took it home,\nhooked it up, and it works great. As this is my first time using any kind of\nrotator, a couple of questions:\n\n\n\n1) What is the best computer interface to get? I intend to use this for\nautomatic control with HRD or SatPC32\n\n2) I don't think I can post a picture to this listserve, but can\nsomeone who knows their rotators email me so I can send you a pic? I'd like\nto find out what model rotator I have. All I see are the numbers 7501-004.\n\n3) Can someone send a link for good instructions on how to set this\nthing up in regard to synchronizing the controller and rotator (so the\ndegrees on the controller match in real life)?\n\n\n\nThanks for the help.\n\n\n\nTim\n\nK6TW\n\n_______________________________________________\nSent via [email protected].
