"content": "Hi Peter,\nyou have two options in menu \"Rotor Setup\":\n1. Limit max. elevation to 90° and activate 450° azimuth range,\n2. Limit azimut range to 360° and activate Flip mode (180° elevation).\n\nYou cannot combine 450° azimut and 180° elevation. That isn't necessary.\nThe purpose of both options is the same and the results practically also.. I\nwould prefer option 1 since it is mechanically easier.\n\nThe program performs automatic satellite switching (A+) only for satellites\nthat have an entry in aux. file \"Prior.SQF\". This text file can be opened\nand edited form menu \"?\", \"Auxiliary Files.\" The file itself contains the\nnecessary instructions.\n\n73s, Erich, DK1TB\n\n----- Original Message ----- \nFrom: \"Peter Wilson\" <[email protected]>\nTo: <[email protected]>\nSent: Friday, December 20, 2013 9:48 PM\nSubject: [amsat-bb] PCSAT32 and Yaesu 5500 rotator (NEWBIE)\n\n\n> Hi All,\n>\n>\n>\n> I am planning to get started on the linear satellites and have bought a\n> G5500 rotator and two Wimo antennas for 2/70.\n>\n>\n>\n> Before I put the rotator onto the roof I have been using it in the shack\n> to\n> make sure it does what it should.
