"content": "Ed Tump said:\n\n*Are there ways to have an image like a map of the US and update it with\neach\nsatellite contact? Where the map would show my home QTH and then show a dot,\nicon, etc, where the contacts grid is? This would be something I could keep\nas an image or print when needed.*\n\nPersonally, I use Google Earth (http://earth.google.com) for my QSO plotting\nneeds. Although you'll\nhave to enter the QSOs by hand.\n\nThe Google Earth software is free for the downloading, and once you have the\nsoftware you can\nsee plots of my QSOs for last year and this year at\nhttp://www.squidzone.ca/ve3oij\n\nAnother ham was working on a better presentation within Google Earth, but at\nthe most basic level,\nyou can enter your QSOs and show them as icons on the globe. You can\nconvert grids to lat/long at\nhttp://www.amsat.org/amsat/toys/ for plotting them on Google Earth\n\n\n\nDarin Cowan\nVE3OIJ\n",
