"content": "Hi Jake,\n\nOh, so THAT explains it! I heard you on SO-50 last night, called you\nback a few times but it didn't seem like you ever heard me. No one\nelse was on the bird at the time -- my duplex downlink was full\nquieting at the time so I knew I was making it in as well. I was\nintrigued by your CM88 grid (same as mine) and wanted to know where\nyou were -- after the pass I looked you up, saw you were just south of\nme, but couldn't find an email with which to contact you.\n\nAnyway, you were solid into SO-50. I didn't hear any noise whatsoever\non the sat during the pass, but occasionally I hear a \"popping\" noise\nabout S3-S4 on the UHF bands either locally (Fairfield) or even as far\naway as Mt Lassen when I go QRP-portable.\n\nBest regards,\n\nDave KB5WIA / CM88\n\nOn Thu, Jan 27, 2011 at 1:13 PM, Giacobbe Lauser <[email protected]> wrote:\n> Is anyone else in Northern California having interference on the SATS\n> from PAVE/PAWS, particularly on the downlink for SO-50?\n>\n> I notice some S3+ modulated noise blocking all weak signals.
