I am just getting\nback on the satellites after a long layoff. My last sat QSOs were on AO-10\nand AO-13!\n\nI downloaded and registered SatPC32 a few days ago. Seems to be running OK.\nIts the interfacing that's throwing me off.\n\nI have an AlfaSpid RAS rotator. How do I answer the Rotor Setup query:\n\"Turning point of az. rotor (S or N)\" I have my rotator set up to be north\ncentered, does that make the 'turning point' N or S?\n\nAlso having trouble connecting SatPC32 to my AlfaSpid MD-01 controller. I\nhave the controller interfaced on MD-01 COM 1 running in Rot2Prog mode and\nmy PC connected on COM 1, both running at 19,200 baud 8-N-1. When I launch\nSat32PC I get the error message \"Port 1 could not be opened\" What am I\ndoing wrong?\n\nTnx & 73\nBill\n\nBIll AA7XT\n(ex-AA6TT,e x-NT1Y)\nGlade Park CO\nDM59pa\n", "attachments": [] }
