    "content": "Hi Mike,\n\nThe IC-9700 to my knowledge cannot tune to 137 MHz.\n\nFor APT reception a lot of hams use RTL2832U \"RTL-SDR\" USB dongles; They\nare relatively inexpensive and open up almost the entire sub-GHz radio\nspectrum.\n\nHere are two I've used personally and can recommend:\nhttps://www.rtl-sdr.com/buy-rtl-sdr-dvb-t-dongles/\nhttps://www.nooelec.com/store/sdr/sdr-receivers/nesdr-smart-sdr.html\n\nFor a hardware radio you will want to find one with a FM BW of about 40-50\nkHz to capture the signal.
