"content": "Hi Gus,\n\nI do not have the answer on which distance to apply really.\nJust to share my experience:\n\n- here at home I never have had any issue with de-sensing\n and I do not use any filter or trick. with any of the\n radios (ts2000, ft817, thd7) it all works fine.\n\n- field operations:\n I use no desensing filters either.\n 145mhz antenna straight to the ft817\n 435mhz antenna straight to the thd7\n antennas clambed together on eachother\n\n ... well, in this set-up it makes a BIG difference\n how I align the antennas. Moving one forward 1 cm does\n make a big difference. (sliding the booms across eachother)\n so not the boom2boom but element to element distance.\n but that is applicable for arrow like setup, not for\n permanent mounted constructions.\n\nMmm, I am afraid this information doesnt help you at all :-)\n\nHenk\n\n\n\n\n",
