I and\nseveral associates will be manning an Amateur Radio Satellite table there,\nshowing off the cubesat simulator, the Fox Engineering model, and other\nspace science tools. We will also, as usual, attempt to demonstrate Amateur\nRadio satellite communications by attempting to work some FM satellite\npasses during the span of the event. Unfortunately, during the span of the\nevent, 1500Z to 2100Z, there will only be one really good AO-91 pass and\nhowever many of the TEVEL fleet that are activated. We will be co-located\nat the event next to the Dallas Amateur Radio Club. The Club will be\nactivating their W5FC club callsign and they have given permission for us to\nuse that call for satellites as wel since all of us working the AMSAT table,\nare also club members.l. \n\n \n\nSo please give a listen, or even call for W5FC. Hopefully, we will have\nsome observers in toe,. Making some contacts for them will be a really cool\nexperience for them.\n\n \n\nIf someone could put this activation on the AMSAT Twitter feed, that would\nbe great. I will place on Discord.\n\n \n\n73 and hope to see you on the Birds this Saturday from 1500Z to 2100Z in\ncelebration of \"Moon Day\".\n\n \n\nTo, N5HYP\n\n \n\n\n\n", "attachments": [ { "email": "https://mailman.amsat.org/hyperkitty/api/list/[email protected]/email/VVWPKMMTJEOR47BM7CXBIZCUZARH6SOK/?format=api", "counter": 2, "name": "attachment.html", "content_type": "text/html", "encoding": "us-ascii", "size": 4708, "download": "https://mailman.amsat.org/hyperkitty/list/[email protected]/message/VVWPKMMTJEOR47BM7CXBIZCUZARH6SOK/attachment/2/attachment.html" } ] }
