    "content": "\nYears ago I was out telescoping with my astronomy club at a spot about 50\nmiles west of Phoenix. Just about an hour or so after sunset, we saw this\niridescent orange pillar rising in the west. A Delta with a full complement\nof Solid boosters had just launched. We were able to follow it long after\nthe solids cut out as the sun illuminated the exhaust plume from the main\nengines.
