    "content": "Hi Dave,\nI think you got the answers from the other respondents - but I would like to\nadd a few remarks:\n\n1. The most important in my humble opinion - do not use the CTCSS tone.\nIn my experience it breaks through on the downlink.\nThat does not sound very good.\n\n2. Use normal FM - not FM narrow - but adjust the mike gain so that \nyour downlink audio sounds good.\n\n3. Do not use high power (EIRP). It can give \"funny\" effects now and then.\n\n4. I use 435.340 MHz for the downlink - but nominal frequency may be OK for\nyou. \n\nEnjoy the 2 weeks of SO-67 active over the Americas.
