"content": "Pavel,\n\nFormerly, ISS VHF transmissions were done with a Kenwood D-700, \nlocated in the Service module.\nThat rig went faulty and an Ericsson handheld is used presently. It \nis located in the Columbus module.\nThe D-700 had about 10 watt RF output.\nThe Ericsson has less than 5 watt.\n\nThere is a new Kenwood D-710 on board the Service module presently.\nThis rig has not yet been prepared with the usual channels for ARISS traffic.\nBut it will be used for the SSTV transmissions as announced.\n\n73, Gaston - ON4WF\n\n\n\n\n\nAt 21:18 13-12-14, Pavel Milanes Costa wrote:\n>Hi to all...\n>\n> From a few days now (3 actually) I have been monitoring the ISS \n> APRS digipiter, and seems to me that the power has been turned down \n> or equipment changed...\n>\n>Today I conducted a (long delayed) maintenance to my 3 antennas on \n>the back yard, two J-poles and the HF doublet...\n>\n>I was worried about the performance of my antennas, nope...
