Using the keps update button\ndoes not get you the best keps. It calls a batch file called \"getkeps\"\nthat is located in the Unitrac directory. Best I can figure the\nsoftware wonts this button pushed every 30 days or you get an old keps\nmessage when you open the program. My way around this is to click the\nbutton when it says this and then go into the directory and redo\nthings myself. You can have a look at the batch file and you will see\nthe process it calls up.\n\nAs for using PCsat32 or Nova there is a section in the manual on this.\nIt requires calling a DDL control. If you have the \"getting started\nquick\" file it is in there. I have done it with Wisp32 and it works\nfine. If you don't have it I can send it to you.\n\nHope you get it going. It works great after you learn the way of it.\n\n73's << John\n\nOn 5/26/07, Malcolm Preston <[email protected]> wrote:\n> I recently purchased the unit and program from Spectrum International after\n> my 15 year old AEA tracker box failed from salt air, Africa dust, and heat\n> exposure here in the Virgin Islands.\n>\n> I get a repeated messages from the software that the keps file cannot be\n> accessed although the file is installed in the same directory as the program\n> and the Main Configuration file set-up is as shown in the manual.
