Do I have to pay for the upgrade? I purchased\nSATPC32 from an AMSAT rep at a flea market and it didn't come\nwith a code to be put in to make it work... When I run the\nprogram-it says \"registered\" and is fully functional..\nMaybe you know if this is the case, Wayne. Martha is not in\ntoday.\n\n73,\nDee, NB2F\n\n-----Original Message-----\nFrom: [email protected]\n[mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Wayne Estes\nSent: Friday, October 21, 2011 3:28 AM\nTo: [email protected]\nSubject: [amsat-bb] SatPC32 version 12.8b is released\n\nSatPC32 version 12.8b is available for download at\nhttp://www.dk1tb.de/downloadeng.htm\n\nThe main SatPC32 program window now displays more information\nsuch as the date of the Keplerian elements file in use.\n\nBefore upgrading your SatPC32 installation, be sure to use the\nnew program (in the ZIP file) to backup your user\nconfiguration. The upgrade erases all previous user\nconfigurations, but the new program will restore your\nconfigurations after upgrading.\n\nThe download is a demo version that requires users to enter\ntheir lat/lon each time the program is started. To make the\nprogram fully functional, enter your existing registration\ncode or purchase a registration code from the AMSAT web site:\nhttp://www.amsat-na.com/store/category.php?c=Software\n\nDK1TB, the author of SatPC32 has donated the software to\nAMSAT. All sales of SatPC32 are used to support AMSAT.\n\nHere are the changes described in the What's New file:\n\n1. SatPC32, SatPC32ISS, Wisat32 and SuM now support rotor\ncontrol of the\nM2 RC-2800 rotor system.\n\n2. The CAT control functions of SatPC32, SatPC32ISS and\nWisat32 have been expanded. The programs now provide CAT\ncontrol of the new Icom transceiver IC-9100.\n\n3. The main windows of SatPC32 and SatPC32ISS have been\nslightly changed to make them clearer. With window size W3 the\nworld map can be stretched (only SatPC32).\n\n4. The accuracy of the rotor positions can now be adjusted for\nthe particular rotor controller. SatPC32 therefore can output\nthe rotor positions with 0, 1 or 2 decimals. Corrections of\nthe antenna positions can automatically be saved. In previous\nversions that had to be done manually.\n\n5. The tool 'DataBackup' has been added. The tool allows users\nto save the SatPC32 program data via mouse click and to\nrestore them if necessary. After the program has been\nconfigured for the user's equipment the settings should be\nsaved with 'DataBackup'. If problems occur later, the program\ncan easily restore the working configuration.\n\n6. The rotor interfaces IF-100, FODTrack, RifPC and KCT\nrequire the kerneldriver IOPort.SYS to be installed. Since it\nis a 32-bit driver it will not work on 64-bit Windows systems.\nOn such systems the driver can cause error messages. To prevent\nsuch messages the driver can now optionally be deactivated.\n\n7. SuM now outputs a DDE string with azimuth and elevation,\nthat can be evaluated by client programs. Some demo files show\nhow to program and configure the client.\n\n73,\nWayne Estes W9AE\nOakland, Oregon, USA, CN83ik\n_______________________________________________\nSent via [email protected].
