    "content": "Dear Clint,\n\nAs a board member, I am well aware of\nwhat transpired.\n\nAMSAT is working on bringing our old\nField Operations organization back up to\nbeing relevant. We are actively looking for\nvolunteers to be Area Coordinators.\n\nYou were contacted as a previous volunteer to\nsee if you were still interested. Since you\nstated that you were not willing to do what\nis expected of an Area Coordinator, we are\nforced to find someone else who is willing\nsince we need to fill that position.\n\nIn no way were you \"dismissed\" from AMSAT.\n\nIf you want to go about doing things your\nown way there is nothing wrong with that.\nAMSAT welcomes all volunteer activities\nthat promote AMSAT and amateur satellites;\nincluding yours.\n\nThis is a hobby. It is supposed to be fun.\nThe amsat-bb is supposed to be used to talk\nabout satellites not to take shots at\nother volunteers.
