The FT-847 went out of\nproduction due parts availability. Like many here, they equate satellite\nwith P3 HEO, and feel that until that happens, there is no justification for\nthe additional engineering work to bring out an updated version. I have\nbeen told there is a notional design for one. Others have gotten different\nversions. Will ask again.\n\nAlan\nWA4SCA\n\n\n-----Original Message-----\nFrom: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] \nSent: Friday, May 13, 2011 11:27 AM\nTo: [email protected]\nCc: [email protected]; [email protected]\nSubject: Re: [amsat-bb] Re: IC9100 and SATPC32\n\nI keep wondering if/when Yaesu will bring out a replacement for the FT-847.\n\nIf anybody is going to Dayton this year, PLEASE ask them.\n\nUnless they keep getting questions about it, they won't know there's a\nmarket for it.\n\n73, Jim KQ6EA\n\n\nMay 13, 2011 09:18:58 AM, [email protected] wrote:\n\n\n\tUnless the IC-9100 comes down in price about $2,000, I don't care if\nit will\n\twork with SATPC32.
