I will head west toward grid \nDM24 for the afternoon AO-27 passes, the late afternoon SO-50 \npass around 0030 UTC, and the afternoon/evening AO-51 passes on\nthe normal 145.920/435.300 MHz transponder. I think I may have \nlocated a spot that straddles the DM23/DM24 boundary in western \nArizona, with a good view of the sky for satellite work. If it \nlooks good when I get out there tomorrow, I will park on that \ngrid boundary. The area I'm looking to work from in DM24 or on \nthe DM23/DM24 boundary would probably be in La Paz County, a very \nsparsely-populated western Arizona county - for anyone looking \nto work counties via satellite. \n\nI worked from DM23/DM24 last year, from a different location on\nthe California side of the Colorado River. In July 2008, I worked\nfrom DM24/DM25 further north near Bullhead City AZ and Laughlin NV.\nBoth DM23 and DM24 are rarely heard via satellite, but DM24 appears\nto be more rare than DM23 in recent years. \n\nIf you work me an want a QSL card, please e-mail me directly with\nthe QSO details. If you're in the log, a card will go out to you.\n\n73!\n\n\n\n\n\nPatrick WD9EWK/VA7EWK\nhttp://www.wd9ewk.net/\n\n\n", "attachments": [] }
