    "content": "Mac,\n\nAsk the person realizing the repair to check Q42 and Q43 (RN2425) in the\nmain unit. Many IC-821H presented a problem with low power, including mine.\nThe problem is normally due to a partial damage of Q42 and/or Q43\ntransistors in the power control circuits (for both VHF and UHF). It is\nadvisable to replace both transistors by a part that can tolerate higher\npower levels.
