"content": "Thanks Allen for the heads up on the Yaesu service problem. Seems they\nall have problems at times. I really have had good luck with the\nKewood service center in Virginia Beach. Others might not have had the\nsame service. They replaced the display in TMV7A under warrenty 3\nyears after the purchase. I kinda liked that. I have spoken with the\nservice fellow from down there at Dayton a couple of times and he\nseems really nice. I approached the Icom folks at Dayton about the\nIC-3230A problem and all I got was \"well it is over a year old and out\nof warranty\". Three trips to Washington state in that year was enough\nto get it out I guess. Well that is my dimes worth. Sure hope others\nhave better luck with them. 73's <<John\n\nOn 4/12/07, Alan P.
