"content": "Jim,\n\nAmazingly DM03 is not heard on passes of FM satellites (SO-50) that touch\nthe east coast. The same could be said for east coast grids never heard\nout west.\n\nRecently WD9EWK was out in southern California and made a point to work\nsome low passes that reached the east coast. It proved popular.\n\nI commend the K6PV op for working a pass low enough to provide coverage to\nthe entire continental USA on SO-50.\n\n73\nClayton\nW5PFG\nOn Feb 27, 2015 7:20 PM, \"Jim Jerzycke\" <[email protected]> wrote:\n\n> Is DM03 really that \"rare\"?\n>\n> If it is, I'll get on the birds more often.\n>\n> Jim KQ6EA\n>\n>\n> On 02/27/2015 07:50 PM, John Papay wrote:\n>\n>> The Palos Verdes Amateur Radio Club is operating\n>> from Santa Catalina Island, DM03rk through Sunday.\n>> They have been worked on SO-50 but have about a 10-12\n>> degree horizon.
